Supportive Services at Woodside Manor

Support staff at KIHA’s Family Investment Center provide programs for adults as well as children. The programs and services are often called Resident Self-Sufficiency Services or Family Self-Sufficiency Services and they include job skills training, job search assistance, GED certification programs, financial literacy, and more.

The Family Investment Center (FIC) offers free services to the children of KIHA’s housing participants and employees. Services include after school and summer programs, rides to and from school, field trips, snacks, and hot meals. (See their page for an up to date schedule of programs.)

The Family Investment Center has a fully-stocked kitchen, arts and crafts rooms, and a game room. If you’re a KIHA tenant looking for fun activities for your children, look no further.

Supportive Services at Heritage Heights

KIHA offers supportive services to residents of Heritage Heights free of charge. These services are tailored to meet the tenant’s needs. Possibilities include: light housekeeping, laundry services, meal preparation, emergency medical alert equipment, transportation, meal delivery, and activities. The Sun’aq Tribe of Kodiak’s Tribal Housing Advocate and KIHA’s Services Program Manager are also available to help Heritage Heights residents access other services.
