Operating in an active, energetic, and dynamic environment involving up to two dozen children, this position is responsible for assisting the Youth Activities Coordinator (YAC) with summer youth programs at the Family Investment Center (FIC) of the Kodiak Island Housing Authority (KIHA).
Temporary Village Positions
The purpose of this job announcement is to develop a pool of qualified candidates to provide support to the Facilities Department for work in Akhiok, Larsen Bay, Old Harbor, Ouzinkie, and Port Lions. Applications in this pool will be held for 1 year and will be used to fill any Facilities Laborer, Carpenter, and General Forman needs. Applicant(s) must reapply after 1 year of submission. A list will be made of the most qualified candidates that apply and these individuals will be contacted first for employment offers. If the most qualified individual is unavailable for work the next qualified candidate will be contacted until the position is filled. The pool remains open throughout the year as needed to fill vacancies.
