RFQ 26-02 Lawn Care

Q&A
- Will this require any wood / structure replacement behind the meters?
- KIHA can have carpenter and materials on hand to replace any rot found behind the meters, we are expecting there will be.
- Is the vacant CW 40:
-
- directly behind the meters in case the wall needs to be cut open to access the wires
- Yes, we expect the contractor will want access via unit 40.
- ensured to stay empty for the duration of the project
- Yes, unit 40 is being held vacant until the meters are replaced.
- directly behind the meters in case the wall needs to be cut open to access the wires
-
- What is the outage timeline ideal? One day 8am – 9pm? Multiple days, but shorter duration?
- One (long) day is strongly preferred.
- Will this work also require moving anything telephone line related? Will we coordinate and sub-contract that if needed, or would we like them to bid that they can move that too
- There could be a junction box mounted in the area, that would have to be taken down out of the way, and then remounted.
- Don’t expect any tele/com would need to be relocated.
- Right now there is 200A. Would KIHA like to take this opportunity to bump to 400A for potential need in the future?
- None, current service is appropriately sized.
